Kenny went to the little grade school at Fairwell, but never to Green Forest.
After his parents passed, Virginia and Frankie put him in a group home at Springfield. Anyway, they found his seizures were caused by a tumor in his brain. He had an operation and now does not have them and works at the home. If long ago the tumor, had been found his life might have been different.
The medicine he had to take to keep from having the seizures really drugged him down.
The other Sisters may know more about this than I. I might have it wrong as sometimes, I get my stories confused...but I think this is correct.
kenny has a life at last, he goes with the van that delivers meals on wheels to the eldry and he carried the meals to the door.uncle truman saved all the s.s. checks kenny got for him, after he was 18 so he has some money.
I am so glad Virginia Lee sort of took responsibility for him. And I do guess Frankie came through in the end. I never thought he had as good of life as our Debby. Maybe because he was mentaly better off and knew there was something wrong with him...Debby ALWAYS knew she was just PERFECT the way she was. I look at these kids in the Special Olympics and how they smile when they win a race and I think....Our sister won a special olympic every day of her life. There was ALWAYS praise and cheering for everything she did. She always won all of the foot racees, she always won at cards, She always won every arguement she ever had! She was never beaten at anything she did not even by the younger Grandkids, they just knew Debby was SPECIAL!
