Happily Retired

Welcome to my blog ~ a new adventure for this retired lady. I'm entering the 21st century in style thanks to some very precious long lost cousins.

since you are our kin I am sure you will have somethings to say and we will have things to say back

Dear Win...Fleta named you right.
What better to be than a Winner!
I can see by your life's report
that life has been good to you.

So many cousins drift and finally the generation after us don't even know their kin. Maybe we can break
that mold...my Laura and Erin can
at least know your children.

Computers amazing machines. They can be used for the greatest of
evils or the greatest of good.

Welcome, Fleta's only. We will visit often.

I plan to keep teaching one year at
a time. This finishes up 34 for me
I think...I really do lose count. I am not sure how many years I have taught!

we like family stories if you have any. aunt winnie and aunt fleta are sort of a blank to us. we knew aunt thelma well and knew aunt betty some but all we knew of you and aunt winnie was when you were here on vacation.
Daddy thought it was a fun story that when my sister Fleta was living in K.C. and going down the street looking for your house and you are out in the yard yelling FLETA,FLETA. he told that story more than once.

Winnie Jo we have simply got to have some stories about the Cousins you knew. As I have previously stated in by Blog, Thelma was the only one of Daddy's Sisters that I knew at all. I would love to know more about Fleta, Winnie, and Betty.
