Sister--Helen said...: Look at all of the doilies you had. I wonder if Grandma Powell made all of them. I remember in her living room she had a table in the corner that was filled with the doilies she made. She made those cups and saucers and those little chickens. She stiffened them with sugar water. I would walk up to the table that was just chin high to me and lick the doilies for the sugar taste. I must have been 4 or 5. I never remember Grandma getting on to me but they must have been limp doilies when I left.; 6:37 AM
