I've cried many tears....but I do think things are going to be all right! Joe Biden is a big relief. Also, I don't ever think I have seen two people be more gracious or supportive as the Clinton's. I still very proud of both of them - Their speeches spoke volumns --I hope the right people were listening.
We can not have Same - we need Change or this time is going to worse that what our grandparents lived through in the Depression.

I agree with that. I also liked Biden...Bill and Hillary sure looked good...
Biden said McCain voted against the min. wage increase 19 times...wow...surely no poor workers will vote for him.
If they do they are truly ignorant!
My husband, who has always been a "dyed in the wool" Republican said, "If they raise the minimum wage, prices will just go up." I said, "Prices go up anyhow. Even without the raise in the minimum wage."
Let me tell you what leaving the insurance needs of the public in the hands of the insurance companies does. When we get a medicare raise, it takes nearly all of mine to pay my yearly raise in premiums for my supplemental insurance. What does that accomplish? What started out at $87 a month when I was 65 has now risen to $144.05 at 72. Lord only knows what it will go up to next year.
