At Least another 12 hours
We finally did have rain last night, but they have extended this grizzly heat wave another 12 hours...which mean that this Saturday will read above 100 again with a heat index around 115. I guess I am just getting old and will never understand how Helen lives in this weather. It is just gastly and so unenjoyable to get out and even go to the store. Maybe tomorrow will be better and we can enjoy going to see our daughter and her family join a new church...we are so happy for them.

It is just too hot to do anything but gripe! That is my take on it. That rain will just make it more unbearable today. Some relief is to come soon and I am ready.
some years it bothers me more than others...it is esecially hard when it does not cool off at night...at midnight it is still over 90 lots of times...but nice weather is just around the corner...Rhea is coming to visit me on Friday and we are headed to CA 80 degrees or so....can't wait...one thing for sur I am never really cold...
