Continue Prayers
Saturday morning: I am asking for continued prayers for my friend Judy. Yesterday they had to put in a feeding tube and they still have no answers for what is causing her decline. We are all so worried and prayers for her are 24/7. Thanks to each of you that take a moment to lift prayers for Judy.

I will remember her. No telling
what type of virus or bacteria
she got in on her trip. Hope she
will be better soon.
severe dehydration can cause major damage to your kidneys. they are (arguably so) the most important organ in your body. is this feeding tube temporary (nasogastric) or surgically placed through her abdomen/stomach???
the tube is a "pick" and it was surgically inserted - she had a good night and the diarrhea has almost stopped as of this morning - we have located a Chinese Dr. here in KC and he is going to consult - we are all so worried about her decline - thanks for your thoughts and prayers
I have heard that the problem with traveling is that one is exposed to viruses and diseases that are unique to the origin of the traveler. Is this the case for your friend? Was she exposed to something in her travels that compromised her health?
she was exposed to something on the east coast of China that she did not have immunity to - today has been a better day and they have decided that she contracted some form of E-Coli - she is still on the feeding tube to let her organs rest. It sure is scary to see a friend decline and be so sick.
boy i am smart. i thought when i read you post it was E-coli. that comes from working at tyson and reading all the warning about E-coli. next time you post about someone being ill, i will give you my diagnoiss!lol.i put a post up for you.
Winnie...hope she is recovering and going home this week! Aug. 3,
2006.
Aug.3 - she is not going home yet, they ran all the same tests over today - we are just so worried. thanks for your concern and prayers.
