Today no coat for church...in the high 50's....then at 6:30 tonight, the north wind doth blow.  It will be -2 in the morning.  Crazy around here!

I have been working my tail off trying to complete the shawl....Thursday Judy will have her 2nd treatment and it is her birthday.

Brrrrr...it is even getting tonight and -1 when we get up.  They are talking about a -20 windchill in the morning.  Sure am glad I do not have to go and teach tomorrow❤️

I have been working as much as possible on my friend's prayer shawl....she is having such a difficult time and she has just had one treatment.  Her 2nd treatment will be on the 30th...also her 65th Birthday....really would  like to gave her shawl completed by next week...

Pleased with the yarn I picked out...kind of a rose color and extra soft!

Word from Susie...lumpectomy went well yesterday and lymph nodes all clear...Praise the Lord❤️

It is rough when you have dear friends that are battling Breast Cancer....Sue and my dear friend Judy.

Sue has had a dramatic reduction in the size of her tumor....she will have it removed next Friday.  my friend Judy started her very rough chemo last Thursday...her treatment will last 18 weeks...

We are wearing these pink ribbons in support"findThe Cure".    Wouldn't that be an awsome answer to prayer!

Freezing Rain

On and off freezing rain...but here at 5:00.AM

.. It really doesn't look all that bad.  I just hate that all our kids have to get out in this stuff...it is suppose to warm up to the 40' this afternoon.  I really am ready for this stuff to go away!

ME!!!!

Mike and neighbors have cleared driveway....about 3".  Tomorrow the weather is really dropping into the deep freeze and kids will have an extended Christmas Break.  A Merk cousin in Duluth said it was -34 degrees this morning and she does not want to know what the windchill is this morning...I emailed her and told her to "shut the front door ".    Brrrrrrrrrrrrr.........

Just a Perfect Day

The kids all arrived around 10 and we had an awesome Christmas brunch.  Tanner is always anxious to hear the order that we will open gifts...I told him we would go youngest to oldest for the gifts and then reverse for stockings.  Tanner is the youngest and I am the oldest of the nine of us.

Just got the word that cancer markers are all good....really, really low on Vitamin D....but that is something I can work on....yippyy  skippy!
